Kim Kardashian To File For Divorce From Kris Humphries

After 72 days of marriage, TMZ is reporting Kim Kardashian is expected to file for divorce from Kris Humphries this morning. Sources indicate even though the marriage was so short-lived, she will not seek an annulment and cited the reason for the filing as "irreconcilable differences." The exact date of separation is reportedly listed as today, October 31st.


Kim has hired famed divorce attorney, Laura Wasser (who has a client list that consists of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, and Angelina Jolie), to
represent her in the formal proceedings. Before the wedding, both Kim and Kris signed a prenuptial agreement, so their divorce shouldn't take that long to be finalized.

We've all long suspected this marriage wouldn't last because in recent weeks, Kim and Kris have sent out signals indicating their legal binding wasn't in the greatest condition. Just last week, Kim told People Magazine that newlywed life "wasn't ideal" because she and Kris had no privacy (which is something she curiously never seemed to need before). Before that came the news that Kris wasn't even Kim's first choice for a husband, and that before she and Kris started dating she actually approached basketball player for the New York Knicks, Danilo Gallinari, and asked if he would be interested in being in a relationship with her (he (probably wisely) declined). And before that we learned Kim's agent dropped Kris as a client, AND BEFORE THAT he was spotted out and about without his wedding ring on AND BEFORE THAT that Kim was seen visiting a divorce attorney's office in New York.
